HOT Weather.... Cold Brew Coffee

Coffee doesn't Have To Be Hot... Try a Rocks Off Coffee Cold Press Coffee.

Cold press coffee is the perfect way to keep your cool in this silly heat. Make it now, ready for tomorrow!

Simple Cold Press Coffee... Let's Do This!

For this cold press recipe, we recommend our Rebel Rebel Coffee - its BIG, its BOLD and great for this kind of drink giving you an extra smooth and strong tasting coffee.

Ok so. It's sooo simple to make cold press coffee. Make a normal brew using your cafetière. Make sure that you are using a coarse grind of coffee - our cafetière/french press will work great for this however if you would like it coarser, do let us know!

Before pushing the cafetière plunger, let the coffee completely cool before placing in the fridge over night. We recommend 12 hours however you can cut this short, just remember that this will will result in a weaker coffee.

Mix It Up.

After the 12 hours is up, slowly plunge and serve up your coffee. Feel free to add your usual extras like milk however we recommend trying your cold press coffee first. If it's too strong, you could dilute it a little with some cold water. You could also add ice or crushed ice, personally I feel like it waters the cold press coffee down a little too much, but each to their own.

ENJOY!

Tips To Get The Best From Your Cold Press Coffee.

Your beans MUST be coarsely ground (Cafetière/french Press or coarser): Keeping your beans coarse will stop coffee being over infused and also giving you a gritty texture to the taste.

Filtered water changes EVERYTHING!: This is just good coffee advice in general, really, not just for Cold Press Coffee. Your cup of coffee will have a cleaner, sweeter flavour if you use filtered water... try it, see the difference for yourself.

Chill for 12 hours, if not longer: It's fine to cut this time a little short, but we recommend chilling overnight. The coffee needs this full time to fully infuse the water. Straining too early can give you a weaker cup of coffee - no different to making a hot press in that respect.

Stay Cool: Keep your cold press brew cool by chilling your mugs too! Simple but effective.
