Say hello to the Guatemalan Slow Brew In Association with The Slow Readers Club.
We're honoured to be in fine company with The Slow Readers Club and their new Guatemalan Slow Brew, available in 250g, 500g & 1kg bags with options for your Nespresso machines too!
Guatemala has been growing coffee since the 1850s and is one of the top producers in Central America. A small country with around 125,00 coffee growers that produces an impressive 210,000,000 kilos of coffee, accounting for 40% of its agricultural export. Coffees from Guatemala are simply beautiful and one of our favourites here at Rocks Off Coffee.
These Guatemalan coffee beans are from plantations in volcanic valleys surrounding Antigua. This coffee is by three volcanoes; Agua, Fuego & Acatenango. The plantations have rich volcanic soil and excellent growing conditions at an altitude of 1650 metres and the varieties are Caturra, Bourbon & Typica.
Tasting Notes: This coffee is chocolatey & sweet with a beautiful body with notes of blackberries in the aroma. Delicious!
